How to cook a succulent Sirloin Steak
Chef’s Tip
Remove your steak from the fridge at least 1 hour before cooking to allow the steak to come to room temperature (this allows for the meat to relax and avoids the shock of the cold steak on a hot pan)
Cooking Guidelines
- Oil and season your steak with salt and pepper, massaging it into the steak.
- Heat hot smoking pan.
- Add your steaks to the pan, rare- 1 ½ minutes each side, medium rare- 2 ½ minutes each side, medium- 3 ½ minutes each side.
- Put some butter in the pan and stir round and over the steaks.
- Remove the steak from the pan once the cooking time is up to allow your steak to rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Plate up an enjoy
