COMPANY OVERVIEW

Corries Meats, established in 1977, is a local family-owned business. Corries is a thriving retail and wholesale business, with 7 shops around North Down and several retail outlets.

Our working environment/culture is of the upmost importance to us. We believe that every single one of our staff should be happy and comfortable in their workplace.

We strive to encourage career progression and recognise that some of the greatest ideas will come from employees who are the very core of our business. We encourage you to express yourself through the business and believe that your passion will drive our success.

As a family-owned business, we welcome you to our Corries Meats family and hope that together we can form a relationship that gives you the chance to fulfil your potential, as well as contribute to the company’s success.

We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated, enthusiastic individual to join the team.

OUR VALUES

Friendly

We look out for your best interests and show we care by dealing with you in a warm and friendly manner.

Positive

We create a positive environment for both staff and customers, giving our people opportunities for personal growth within the business,

Providing an enthusiastic and positive service, and creating an impact in our local communities.

Approachable

We listen and take on-board people’s opinions and needs. We are relatable, and part of the community.

We make our customers feel comfortable in our stores and love engaging in conversation and sharing dinner ideas just as you would with your friends and family.

Helpful

We take great pride in our work to consistently deliver the highest standards and value for money. We’re informed and we’re always building on that knowledge to constantly improve our quality of service to you.

Honest

We’re always professional, reliable, open and honest. You can depend on us to keep our promises and follow through on our commitments. We are honest about where our food comes from, whether that be straight from the farm or through collaboration with other local businesses.

Customer First

We are customer-needs driven. While we have grown in size, we strive to maintain a ‘local family-owned butchers’ feel.

We strive to deliver ‘old-fashioned’, genuine customer service.  This means getting to know our customers, addressing them by name, remembering their usual order and offering a helping hand where possible.

Bringing people together

We want to encourage people to enjoy good food around a table again. The importance of this has sadly been forgotten and underrated, life and the lack of time has got in the way of this.

By developing meal kits and speedy dinner solutions, we cut out the preparation time and allow families to enjoy what matters most… good food enjoyed in good company.

 Respectful

We show respect at all times to customers, colleagues and any person or organisation we engage with. We hold our reputation in high regard, and treat it with the utmost care at all times

Continually Improving

We seek to learn and improve from every experience

Passionate

We care about the work that we do and get great satisfaction from our efforts. We do what we do because we enjoy it
